Lakshmi Jegatheesan
Solutions Architect Lakshmi has over 20 years of IT experience in a range of roles as a testing manager and tester for people and processes, business analyst, project manager, and solutions architect. Prior to joining Seygen in 2016, she worked primarily in telecom with British Telecom, Cisco, and Time Warner Cable (now Charter Communications). She brings her problem analysis expertise to help ensure Seygen's software solutions meet the immediate needs of customers and anticipate future needs.
Beginning her career as a tester on Cisco's Call Manager (now Unified Communications Manager), she learned the nuances of a VoIP system and set up a virtual LAN in the testing lab where Lakshmi gained experience with the end-to-end order management lifecycle. Her telecom industry knowledge is extensive from ordering and billing (Salesforce, CSG ACP, and ICOMS) to order orchestration (ConceptWave's OMSe, now Ericsson OrderCare, and Oracle's OSM: Order and Service Management) to network provisioning (Cisco routers and switches). She is Seygen’s primary contact for Neustar, an industry-leading telecom clearinghouse, and was a solution architect for a hosted voice project that integrated with Bandwidth.com, a carrier-grade cloud communications provider. She is the project lead for our ASR solution and regularly oversees the planning and design for our clients when ASOG guidelines are updated.
Leveraging her technical qualifications, Lakshmi approaches every project as though it is brand new. She is delighted to learn the many areas of her customer's business and genuinely interested in solving their challenges. Working with passion and intensity in the face of tight deadlines or difficult challenges, she is always upbeat and positive.
Lakshmi holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from University of Madras in Chennai, India. She lives with her husband and two busy boys in Charlotte, NC and loves spending time outdoors.
